Oh, calm down, calm down! We’re not implying anything with this illustration! We are simply combining all of the passages that specifically refer to David and Jonathan’s special “relationship” (found in 1 Samuel and 2 Samuel) into a single narrative. The rest of those books of the Bible are all about wars and King Saul trying to find and kill young David, the son of their servant, who was knit to the soul of the son of the king.
Sure, it might be the making of an epic love story of star-crossed lovers, but – we’re not saying there was anything questionable about their bro-mance! Boys will be boys, right? Though, if a movie were ever to be made, I’d expect it to be a musical, titled Shame!, starring Neil Patrick Harris and Nathan Lane who perform the Bee Gees’ More Than A Woman under the experienced direction of Ang Lee.
After all of the (still to be deciphered) hate-mail we received for “promoting the LGBT agenda” with our first book, I’d just like to remind readers that we didn’t make this all up – it’s in the Bible.
For those interested, the references to kissing one another until David “exceeded” is directly out of the King James Version – 1 Samuel 20:41

Remember: Don’t blame us, it’s in the Bible!
We didn’t pull any punches by adding this illustration and commentary to:
